The Evangelical Bible College of Malawi‘s purpose is to “train Christian men and women in the knowledge of the Lord and of the Scriptures, together with other relevant subjects, with a view to providing suitable leaders and workers for the Christian Church.”

The work of ZEC has long been aligned with zm – the church was founded by Joseph Booth.  Today it has a membership of over 100,000 across Malawi, with 600 congregations led by a pastoral team of 160 pastors and evangelists.  They also have churches in South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.  ZEC in Mozambique is an independent church denomination, with its own leaders and governing Synod.
