"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others ." (2 Timothy 2: 2)

The Evangelical Bible College of Malawi (EBCoM) is one of zm's five partners in Malawi. It is run by a group of international mission agencies together with a number of indigenous evangelical church denominations. Academic Dean Pastor Robert Yanduya explains why the ministry at EBCoM is so important: "The college is needed more than ever before. Due to a lack of access to Scripture in Malawi there is a lack of detailed knowledge of the Bible which makes both pastors and congregations susceptible to false teaching: the college is preparing servants of God who will be able to teach the Bible and make it applicable to the different situations that the church is facing".

Thanks to the generosity of its supporters, zm is helping 57 men and women to study at EBCoM today, so that they can be equipped to serve Jesus in ministry in Malawi, Mozambique and beyond. Please pray for each of them, that they would become more Christlike as well as grow in spiritual wisdom and biblical knowledge.

We are delighted to be able to welcome Pastor Robert Yanduya to the UK in January. In addition to his role as Academic Dean at EBCoM he is also the pastor of Kabula Zambezi Evangelical Church in Blantyre, Malawi. Robert has been studying on a two year Master's degree in Evangelical Theology in the Netherlands since June 2017. The aim of his UK visit is to strengthen the "partnership in the gospel" that churches in the UK have with their counterparts in Malawi; as part of this two-way relationship we can learn much from our partners in Malawi.
