ZM's Abraham Folayan and ZEC's Connex Ijalasi had no time or opportunity to eat turkey, plum pudding or any of the other fine foods traditionally associated with the festivities but they were well filled just the same!

Food & Forks For Malawi - Update August 2002
Through the kindness of Christians in this country ZM/ZEC has been able to distribute bags of maize over recent months to many people who are most at risk from the crop failures and food shortages in Malawi.

School Classrooms - A gift from Mildenhall, Suffolk to Manyowe, Malawi
After two years of lessons in the open air or under a makeshift cane shelter the 400 children of Milo Junior School Manyowe now have two large solidly constructed classrooms. As a result of a £14,000 Millennium project undertaken by the Churches and schools of Mildenhall in Suffolk.

President of Malawi attends ZEC's Millennium Celebrations
On a remarkable Sunday at the end of September Dr. Bakili Muluzu, the President of Malawi, spent nearly five hours as the Guest of Honour at the 108th anniversary and millennium celebrations of the Zambesi Evangelical Churches.
